3809866 over 4 years ago. I have the VA3 music for a week. At first it vibrated, then stopped for no apparent reason. It shows them on the screen bur doesnt vibrate..this is dangerous when using the alarm to wake up for work.. any idea how to fix this? After my first treadmill run, I got a prompt on the watch to calibrate by entering actual distance. After having done that, my subsequent treadmill runs do not seem any more accurate (underestimating distance by 50% or so) and I no longer get that prompt. I have the option to update the distance in GCM but only in tenth of a mile increments.
Vivoactive 3 Music - Turn off tips. Tips keep randomly coming upon my watch, sometimes early hours of the morning (my phone is on DND but not my watch). Yes - I used my Win10 machine and I can't see the playlist. Garmin Express also can't see the playlist. But it's there on the watch with no song files associated. •. Just looked at the reset function. There are two choices. The one that just resets settings may not remove the rogue playlist. The one that resets settings and wipes all data
To perform a hard reset, press and hold the button on the left side of the device for about 20 seconds. The device will vibrate and then enter into recovery mode. From there, you can use the Garmin Vivoactive HR’s menus to perform a hard reset. Be warned, though, that performing a hard reset will erase all data and settings from the device.

For example, I have set three alarms via Garmin Connect (on my iPhone) and these alarm setting will not appear on my Vivoactive 3 even after repeated sync. I actually "ungraded" from Vivoactive HR to Vivoactive 3. It now seems like a downgrade instead. I am totally disappointed that Garmin cannot get such a basic thing to work! pMdW.
