Made simply with shredded frozen potatoes, parmesan cheese, olive oil, herbs, garlic, and plenty of flaky sea salt. Each homemade, oven-baked tater tot is delicious…and even a little healthier too since these are not fried. The secret? Rolling each tot in a little olive oil before baking for a crispy on the outside, soft on the inside tater tot.
Air Fry at 400°F/205°C for 5-8 minutes. Shake and gently stir about halfway through cooking. If cooking larger batches, or if your tots (puffs) don't cook evenly, try turning them multiple times on following batches. If needed air fry at 400°F/205°C for an additional 1-3 minutes or until crisped to your liking. Add sour cream and half the cheese, then stir to incorporate. Layer the frozen tater tots on top of the casserole mixture and sprinkle with the rest of the cheese. Place Air Fryer Lid on top of the Instant pot and set cooking cycle to 10 minutes at 400F. No need to turn the food when the lid signals to do so.
Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef. Break the beef apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until the beef is browned, about 6 minutes.*. Add the frozen mixed vegetables, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon pepper, and ¼ teaspoon garlic powder. Stir well. Add the mushroom soup and cheddar soup to the beef.
Instructions. Follow directions on the tater tot package and pre-heat oven (usually 400°F) and place tater tots on large cookie sheet in a single layer. While waiting for the oven to heat up, cook bacon until crispy and set aside. Once the tater tots are close to being done, remove from oven.
Drain fat. Place beef mixture in the bottom of a casserole dish (9×13-inch pan size or similar). Spread chili over the top of the beef mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Top casserole with a single layer of frozen tater tots. Bake for approximately 40 minutes, or unit the tots are golden brown and cooked through.
Turn on your oven and preheat it at 400°F for three to five minutes. Put your frozen tots in the basket of your air fryer. Cook those tots for 12 minutes to 15 minutes, until your tots become beautifully golden brown. Checking if the tots' internal temperature is 140°F helps ensure the doneness of the tots. Brush on melted butter on each tater tot. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until nice and golden. Frying instructions: In a skillet, heat half an inch of vegetable, or canola oil until sizzling. Fry the tater tots a few at a time until nice and golden brown. Removed onto a plate lined with paper towel. Instructions. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes. Add the tater tots to the preheated air fryer basket, lightly spray with olive oil spray, and gently toss to coat. Sprinkle the seasoned salt all over and gently toss again to coat. Make sure the tater tots are in a single layer. avbMrF.
